V-ARMOR
V-Armor is protection the 'bullet-proof' jacket that each VR has. V-Armor strength varies among each VR. V-Armor serves one purpose, to discourage long-range play with your that can prolong matches. Naturally, at longer ranges, projectiles have less chance of connecting. V-armor forces you to engage the enemy at closes distances- since the status of your opponents V-Armor directly affects the effective distance rating of your weapon. V-Armor only applies to 'non-exploding' projectiles like bullets and lasers. V-Armor does not affect the effectiveness of bombs, missiles, other exploding type weaponry, and CQC maneuvers. With the lowering of the percentage of V-Armor so lengthens the effectiveness of your weapons that are affected by V-Armor. To put it simply- the lower your V-Armor gets, the further your opponents applicable weapon can be shot.

The following chart has information on how well a specific VR's V-Armor stands up against certain weapons and CQC attacks and their effectiveness distance. Take note that Fei-Yen KN is super vulnerable when it is in Hyper Mode. The table lists the VR's in order of best to worst.

STRIPPING
Another characteristic of V-Armor is that while your VR's energy level is protected by it, certain of the VR's weapons depletes the level of your V-Armor at any range; even when deflected by the armor- making V-Armor stripping a non-distance issue. Your weapon either strips V-Armor at any distance, or it doesn't. This table shows the effectiveness of each VR's ability to strip V-Armor. Here, Temjin was used in the testing. All attacks are done in normal (standing, no turbo, no crouch) fashion. Again, the table lists the VR's in order of best to worst.
